What a ridiculously sweet picture! It caught my eye immediately.

Vision: This photograph is an adorable and simple idea. The pose using the coffee cup brings out the sweetness of the animal. The image gives me a warm feeling because it involves the imagery of two warm things: cute animals and coffee. Also, the light-but-warm coloration makes the image seem friendl, safe, familiar, and comfortable.

Originality: Well, as you know, photography here and elsewhere is swarming with cute pictures of fuzzy animals. This is not a complaint, of course. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink) - "/> However, it does mean that most animal pictures are a little less original. Still, your execution is more original than usual, with the animal "posed" in the cup. Also, to be honest, I'm not sure I believe that the originality rating really "gets the point" of all artwork.

Technique: The lightness of the rest of the picture contrasted with the animal's dark fur leads the eye right to him or her. I like the way that the sharpest part of the picture is the animal's face - it does more to bring the viewer's attention to that part of the photograph. My one complaint is the way the coffee cup is tilted - this might be just a personal preference, but something about it seems a bit unbalanced visually.

Impact: Simple but comfortable and serene, this image is beautifully put together. The vision and technical aspects come together to make a nice impact.
