A very beautiful and tender image.
The soft focus on the deer sniffing inquisitively at the outstretched arm of an outsider touches a cord in my chest. Such magnificent beasts are often too timid to get as close to as you have in this shot so you must have an incredible amount of patience and perseverance.
Against the blurred, almost misty background, the impact of the whole photograph is almost dream-like and has an air of surrealism to it: this photograph reminds me of a scene from a fantasy film because of these qualities, a moment that could only be captured through CGI.
